Welcome fall with an Ayurvedic cleanse

As we shift from summer to fall our bodies undergo a similar transition. Even if we don’t realize it, we are becoming cooler and dryer like autumn. We react to the windier, earlier days in different ways, including feeling anxious and or spacy. And just like the green leaves of summer release their “heat” in vibrant shades of reds, oranges, and yellows, so are we meant to release ours. This is why fall is the perfect time to cleanse. Ayurveda recommends two full cleanses a year to keep our bodies running at their best. If we don’t get the leftover heat from the summer out of our bodies that can turn into inflammation, a weakened immune system, slow, sluggish digestion and elimination, reactive sinuses, and all-around low energy. An Ayurveda cleanse is different. It’s gentle, yet thorough, and never asks you to skip a meal. What it does ask you to do is nurture yourself-slow down, eat mindfully, and notice.
