Kathryn Old
I first found a love for the movement of a yoga practice after pursuing a lifelong passion as a dancer. While living in Charleston, SC, I completed my 200 hour certification and began pursuing vinyasa as a connection to Self. My teaching philosophy is rooted in the graceful fluidity of movement, the harmony between body and mind, and the profound connection to the present moment. I aim to empower others to find a safe space to explore their inner selves, embrace their unique journeys, and find balance, strength, and peace both on and off the mat. As a new Asheville local, I am looking forward to making new connections with others in this beautiful community
Michele Brigante
A former 20+ year corporate executive, Michele's lifelong passion for whole-being health evolved into a career in 2017. Michele was certified as a personal trainer in 2014 and went on to pursue her 500+ hours of yoga teacher training and Reiki Master certification. Michele's mission is to create a safe and sacred environment for self-empowerment. She advocates for those who want to connect with their physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies, desiring a relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Intertwining the limbs of the yogic tradition with chakra exploration, seasonal study, and the practices of breath work, mindful movement, and meditation, Michele will guide you on the path to embracing and embodying your most authentic self.
Kimberly Landis
Kimberly came to yoga after a back injury. Her physical therapist taught her how to use breath with movement and how to isolate individual muscles for movement. After PT, she used yoga to continue to build strength while also being safe.
From there, her practice blossomed from a physical one to a source of emotional strength as well. In her words: "I continually returned to my mat when life got hard. Yoga became a source of resilience that eased grief during the really hard times"
As a teacher, she believes asana practice can be a source of joy as we move our bodies in new ways. She infuses her teaching with levity as we practice.
I know I always feel lighter after a good yoga practice, and I hope to bring that to my students as well.
Claudia Strauss
Jocilyn Rae
The ancient practice of yoga ultimately led me to a deeper understanding of my self, my truth and my purpose on this planet. I whole-heartedly believe a devoted yoga and meditation practice can lead to profound healing of the mind-body, self-regulation through conscious breath and awareness, and a deep connection to and synchronicity with Divinity. I am thrilled and honored to learn and share the ancient wisdom yoga has to offer.
Lillian Tew
Lillian infuses yoga into her life every chance she gets. Whether it’s a few minutes of simple postures here and there throughout the day or a meditative painting session with her kids, the intention to connect through yoga is threaded into every moment of her life. Lillian believes yoga inspires the people of our planet and she is grateful for every opportunity to practice this healing art with others.

Fill yourself with loving kindness and it has no choice but to spill out onto those you meet. When you look deeply into your own need for compassion, acceptance, and forgiveness, there is no effort in offering those to others. The effort is in remembering. Remembering is in the practice. Practice with us and remember the beauty of your own strength, courage peace, and kindness. Namaste.
